Maize BLUEBERRY

A Reliable Choice for Processing and Fresh Market

The 'Brusnytsia' (Bрусница) variety is a strategic choice for growers who prioritize consistency and predictability in their harvest. With a maturation period of 75–80 days, this sweet corn variety allows for precise planning of field operations and processing logistics, minimizing the risks associated with volatile weather conditions.

Operational Performance

For the operator, the most critical advantage of this variety is the uniform size of the ears. At 18–20 cm in length, they fit perfectly into automated processing lines. This uniformity significantly reduces downtime and waste during conveyor-fed cleaning, husking, and packaging procedures.

• Supply Chain Versatility: This crop excels in three key segments: fresh retail, deep freezing, and commercial canning. If demand shifts in one channel, you can easily pivot the harvest to another without compromising product quality.
• Handling and Maintenance: The crop is well-adapted to standard agricultural machinery. No specialized equipment modifications are required for planting or harvesting, keeping operational costs within standard industry parameters.
• Product Integrity: The ears are easy to husk, which minimizes stress on cleaning equipment and ensures that the corn reaches the processing stage in pristine condition.

Cultivation Efficiency

Cultivating 'Brusnytsia' is straightforward and does not require complex protocols. It is highly responsive to standard irrigation and nutrient programs. By maintaining optimal plant density, you ensure proper air circulation between rows, which helps mitigate the risk of fungal diseases. The variety is forgiving of minor deviations in the irrigation schedule, though maintaining consistent moisture levels will maximize yield quality, resulting in the high-grade kernels required by both processors and premium fresh market buyers.
