Sunflower VK 1-SUR

A Reliable Choice for Sustainable Yields

The VK 1-SUR sunflower hybrid is the result of a collaborative breeding effort between the V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute (VNIIIMK) and international specialists. Growers select this hybrid for its ability to minimize risks in variable climatic conditions. The medium-sized head and black seeds make harvesting highly predictable and straightforward for combine calibration.

Field Application and Management

The primary scenario for choosing VK 1-SUR is commercial production aimed at achieving stable yields with high-quality parameters. Thanks to its medium head size, the hybrid exhibits excellent resistance to lodging, which is critical for farms situated in open or wind-prone areas.

• Agronomic Practices: This hybrid responds well to standard intensive cultivation methods without requiring unique, high-cost adjustments to your current farming system.
• Harvesting Performance: The medium-sized black seeds ensure optimal flow during threshing, allowing for efficient use of standard headers with minimal field losses.
• Logistics: The uniformity of the seed material simplifies post-harvest handling, storage, and cleaning, effectively reducing processing costs at the elevator.

By integrating VK 1-SUR into your crop rotation, you secure a reliable asset that simplifies scheduling and provides peace of mind during the intense harvest season. It is a workhorse hybrid designed for those who value operational consistency.
