VK 21-SUR

Sunflower VK 21-SUR is an ultraealy hybrid with a vegetation period of 74 to 80 days, allowing for early harvest and even a second crop per year after winter crops. This variety is highly adaptable to various climatic conditions and suitable for cultivation in all agricultural regions of Ukraine. VK 21-SUR is characterized by low stature, with plant height ranging from 140 to 185 cm depending on sowing time, as well as resistance to lodging and frosts, ensuring stable yields under adverse weather conditions.

The hybrid has high seed oil content, reaching 46-49%, and yield potential up to 27-35 ц/га. Seeds have medium size, round shape, and dark gray color. Flower head diameter is 19-23 cm. Plants are resistant to the complex of pests including Russian thistle and sunflower moth, as well as tolerant to Phomopsis. Thanks to these features, VK 21-SUR demonstrates high resistance to diseases and stress factors, including drought.

To enhance cultivation efficiency, hybrid seeds are treated with fungicides and microfertilizers, which improve plant nutrition and protection. The variety is well-suited for No-Till systems and optimal planting density is 50-70 thousand plants per hectare depending on sowing. VK 21-SUR is a reliable choice for farmers seeking an early and stable sunflower harvest with high oil content.
