VK 101 is a sunflower hybrid developed using the Sumo technology with the herbicide BASTEN, containing trimethuron. The manufacturer is the ART-AGRO company from Ukraine. The hybrid has a medium maturity group with a vegetation period of about 104 days, allowing effective planning of harvest timing. Packaging is provided in 8 kg bags, convenient for transportation and storage.
This hybrid exhibits high resistance to herbicides based on trimethuron, providing effective weed control and reducing the cost of field treatments. Additionally, VK 101 shows high resistance to major sunflower diseases such as fusarium, rust, and gray mold, as well as to stress factors including drought and lodging. This contributes to stable and high yields, reaching 56 centners per hectare.
The VK 101 hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including the Forest-Steppe and Steppe regions of Ukraine. Its high drought tolerance and disease resistance make it a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and stable sunflower yields. The Sumo technology with herbicides ensures effective weed suppression and maximizes the hybrid's potential.
