Sunflower variety VITYAZ is a medium-maturing, high-yielding intensive-type hybrid with a vegetative period of 110 to 117 days. The plant reaches a height of 170–175 cm, has a flat, medium-large head, and yellow ray florets. Leaves are green with weakly expressed blistering, and branching is absent. Marginal stripes on the seeds are weakly expressed, and the 1000-seed mass is approximately 60 g. Recommended planting density for harvest is 50–55 thousand plants per hectare. Variety VITYAZ exhibits high resistance to soil and air drought, lodging, shattering, and diseases such as rust, fomopsis, dry and gray rot, and downy mildew. This ensures stable yields and reduces the risk of losses under adverse weather conditions. Yield potential reaches 50 centners per hectare, with an average yield in the Central Chernozem region of approximately 35 centners per hectare and a maximum of 46.8 centners. VITYAZ is a high-oil-content sunflower variety with oil content in seeds ranging from 49% to 54.7%, enabling the production of up to 15.8 centners of oil per hectare. Due to its characteristics and disease resistance, this hybrid is widely used for industrial cultivation to obtain high-quality oil. VITYAZ seeds are available for purchase with delivery across Russia, making it a convenient choice for agricultural producers.
