SVETOZAR — ultra-early maturing, high-oil content sunflower hybrid, with a short vegetation period of 75–80 days. Due to this, it is suitable for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Volga-Vyatka, Central, Central Chernozem, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, West Siberian, as well as eastern regions such as Altai. The hybrid allows for two harvests per year in southern areas, making it a profitable choice for farmers seeking high productivity and efficient production.
The hybrid is characterized by high uniformity and simultaneous maturity, which facilitates harvesting and reduces yield losses. Early flowering and high drought resistance ensure stable yields even under adverse climatic conditions. Plant height is medium — 150–160 cm, leaves are green, seeds are large and deep with yellow tassel flowers. Leaf pubescence is medium, which also contributes to resistance against adverse factors.
Oil content in seeds ranges from 49% to 52.4%, ensuring high oil content and product quality. Yield varies depending on the region and growing conditions: on average, it reaches 10–35 centners per hectare, with maximum yields in the Ural region reaching 24.6 centners per hectare and oil extraction of 6.3 centners per hectare. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to weeds and diseases, reducing the need for intensive chemical treatments. Recommendations for cultivation emphasize the importance of early harvesting and adherence to agronomic practices to achieve maximum productivity.
