Hysun 180 IT sunflower is a linoleic IMI-hybrid developed for cultivation in steppe, forest-steppe and meadow regions. This medium-early hybrid has a vegetation period of 110 to 120 days, ensuring its versatility across various agroclimatic zones. Plants reach an average height of 160 to 179 cm, promoting stable growth and high yield. Seeds are black and characterized by high oil content, reaching 46–52%, making the hybrid attractive for oil production.

Hysun 180 IT exhibits tolerance to wild oat (A–G), significantly reducing the risk of infection on fields with varying levels of infestation. The hybrid possesses good drought resistance and stable yield, confirmed by adaptability and yield potential ratings of 7–8 points.
