Hybrid sunflower Natil is a mid-ripening variety characterized by high adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions. The plant is of medium height, without branching, with ligulate flowers of narrowly oval shape and yellow color, and orange tubular flowers. The head is large, downward-facing on a strongly curved stem, with a convex seed side. Leaves are of medium size, green with slight pustulosity, and the upper part of the stem is covered with strong hairs. Seeds are of medium size, narrowly oval shape, black with faint gray stripes. Natil exhibits resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, phomopsis, stalk rot, alternaria, and head rot, ensuring stable yields. The potential yield of the hybrid reaches 44 c/ha, with oil content of seeds around 50%, allowing for up to 2.0 tons of oil per hectare. Average yields in the North Caucasus and Central Volga regions range from 18.5–24.1 c/ha, while in some farms of Krasnodar Krai and Ulyanovsk Oblast, it reached over 32 c/ha. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, Central Volga, Lower Volga, and Ural regions, including Krasnodar and Stavropol Krais. Optimal plant density at harvest is 55–60 thousand per hectare. High oil content and disease resistance make Natil an attractive choice for producers aiming to achieve a stable and high-quality sunflower crop.
