Description NK Dolbi
NK Dolbi is a mid-early sunflower hybrid developed by Syngenta, characterized by high growth intensity and high yield potential. It features high initial growth energy and is adaptable to planting dates, allowing successful cultivation in various agroclimatic conditions, particularly in the Forest-Steppe and Northern Steppe zones of Ukraine. Plant height varies depending on moisture availability, and the recommended planting density is 45-50 thousand plants per hectare.

The hybrid has high oil content in seeds — up to 50-52% — making it attractive for oil production. The vegetation period is 108-112 days, corresponding to the mid-early maturity group. Seeds have high germination energy (97%) and a 1000-seed mass of about 72 grams, indicating high-quality seed material of the "Elite" class. Packaging is provided in bags weighing 9-11 kg, containing 150,000 seeds.

NK Dolbi exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including fusarium, fusarium wilt, white and gray mold, and sclerotinia. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to the pest *Aphidius* species A-E. It also demonstrates good drought tolerance and resistance to lodging, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation using traditional technology, on fertile soils with appropriate fertilization to maximize its potential.
