Sunflower Naturela CS

Working with Naturela KS

When dealing with hybrids from Caussade Semences, you immediately notice the precision of French breeding: the crop is predictable, consistent, and reliable in the field. Naturela KS is an ideal choice for growers who want to avoid the "lottery" of disease pressure. During its cultivation in intensive farming conditions, this hybrid proved to be a tough competitor against rust and Phomopsis. While other hybrids often require aggressive fungicide schedules, this sunflower remains green and healthy right up to harvest.

Cultivation and Protection

The key factor that makes life easier for the operator is the hybrid's resistance to the CLEARFIELD (EURO-LIGHTNING) system. Being able to control a wide range of weeds post-emergence without stressing the crop is a massive time-saver and reduces management headaches. In terms of maintenance, the hybrid is uncomplicated: the height of 150-170 cm allows for comfortable machinery operation, and the semi-convex head shape minimizes grain loss during threshing.

Harvest Economics

With an oil content in the 45-50% range, Naturela KS is a liquid asset. Grain elevators have no complaints about quality, as the seeds are well-filled, and thanks to high disease resistance, the percentage of damaged grain is kept to an absolute minimum. It is a hybrid that forgives minor seeding date errors and doesn't require a laboratory-level approach to fertilization, ensuring a stable total yield with basic care.

• Biological Defense: High resistance to rust and Phomopsis.
• Technology: Full adaptation to EURO-LIGHTNING herbicide systems.
• Harvesting Parameters: Stem height up to 170 cm facilitates smooth combine operation.
• Profitability: Up to 50% oil content with excellent grain test weight.
