MAS 83T

Sunflower MAS 83T is a medium-early linoleic-type hybrid with high yield and excellent adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions. The vegetation period ranges from 95 to 113 days depending on growing conditions, allowing flexible use across different regions of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. Medium-height plants with convex flower heads are well pollinated by insects, contributing to stable yield formation.

Hybrid MAS 83T features high oil content in seeds, reaching 50-53%, making it attractive for oil production. It has excellent early growth, enabling sowing even in cold soil and cultivation after minimal soil preparation. Due to resistance to false powdery mildew (gene RM9) and tolerance to common sunflower diseases, MAS 83T is suitable for cultivation in waterlogged areas and intensive crop rotations.

This hybrid is characterized by early flowering and high drought tolerance, ensuring stable yield even under adverse weather conditions. MAS 83T is suitable for various cultivation technologies, including extensive ones, and is an effective solution for farms struggling with weed problems. Yield potential is around 50 centners per hectare, confirming its economic attractiveness for agricultural producers.
