Description MAS 83SU
MAS 83SU — a mid-early sunflower hybrid with high adaptability, suitable for a wide range of cultivation technologies, including extensive methods. It is characterized by excellent early growth, allowing sowing into cold soil and cultivation after minimal soil preparation. Due to its resistance to false powdery mildew (RM9), this hybrid is suitable for early sowing in waterlogged regions and farms with overused sunflower rotations.

This hybrid features stable high oil content in seeds, reaching 50-52%, ensuring high-quality harvest. MAS 83SU belongs to the linoleic type, has a mid-early maturity group with an estimated vegetation period of 106-110 days, and high plant height. In addition to resistance to false powdery mildew, it also shows tolerance to diseases such as fomopsis, basket and stem sclerotinia, and resistance to the parasite wolf (group E).

The recommended seeding rate depends on soil moisture levels: 50-55 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 60-65 thousand under adequate moisture. MAS 83SU performs well in various climatic zones, including Polissia, forest-steppe, and northern steppe. This hybrid is an effective and economical solution for increasing sunflower yield and quality on your fields, especially under challenging agrotechnical and climatic conditions.
