MAS 870G

MAS 870G is a linoleic sunflower hybrid with very high yield potential and good adaptability to various growing conditions. It belongs to the mid-season varieties with a vegetative period of 112-116 days and is characterized by high stature. The flower head is slightly convex, the 1000-seed mass is 60-65 grams, and oil content reaches 50%. Recommended growing zones are the Forest Steppe and Steppe of Ukraine.

The hybrid exhibits excellent phytosanitary status and high resistance to major sunflower diseases. MAS 870G shows drought and lodging resistance rated at 8, tolerance to downy mildew (5 resistance levels A-E), false powdery mildew (RM9), fomopsis (9), stem and head rot (8), and verticillium wilt (7). These characteristics ensure stable yields and enable successful cultivation of the hybrid under challenging climatic conditions.

MAS 870G is suitable for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones, where it can demonstrate its high yield potential of up to 50 centners per hectare. Its high oil content and resistance to stress factors make this hybrid an attractive choice for farmers aiming to obtain a high-quality and stable sunflower crop.
