Pioneer Sunflower P64BB01 is a mid-early simple hybrid with a vegetation period of approximately 105-115 days. Plants reach an average height of about 160 cm, are characterized by stability and high drought resistance, making this variety especially suitable for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe regions of Ukraine, as well as in the Polissia. The hybrid shows resistance to lodging, false powdery mildew, and other diseases, including resistance to the pest A-G, which enhances crop reliability under challenging agroclimatic conditions.
P64BB01 has a yield potential of up to 48-50 ц/ha and contains approximately 50% oil. However, this hybrid has relatively low oil content, which is due to its specific purpose — use as feed for poultry. For successful cultivation, fungicide protection is recommended, and planting should be avoided on fields with high pathogen levels to maintain plant health and ensure maximum productivity.
