Sunflower MAÇ 91A is a high-oil, mid-early hybrid recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine. This variety is distinguished by its stable yield even under stress conditions, making it a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and high-yield crops. The vegetation period lasts 108-112 days, allowing the hybrid to successfully adapt to the climatic features of the specified regions.

Hybrid MAÇ 91A exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases and stress factors. It is genetically resistant to seven races of the sunflower moth, significantly reducing the risk of infestation. Additionally, the variety demonstrates high drought and lodging resistance, as well as tolerance to false powdery mildew, frogepsis, and stem and head rot. These characteristics ensure stable yields and minimize losses under adverse weather conditions.

Sunflower plants of MAÇ 91A reach heights of 145 to 185 cm, have a strongly convex head shape, and a 1000-seed weight of 50-60 grams. The oil content in the seeds is approximately 49%, making this hybrid attractive for producing high-quality sunflower oil. The potential yield reaches 50 centners per hectare, with actual yields of 35-40 centners, confirming the variety’s effectiveness in practical application.
