Sunflower Kremyn

Stable yields in challenging climate conditions

The "Kremin" sunflower hybrid by the seed company "List" is a strategic choice for farmers who prioritize predictability and reliability. In modern agriculture, where environmental stressors are becoming the norm, this hybrid demonstrates excellent adaptability, maintaining its genetically driven yield potential.

Technical Specifications

The vegetation period of "Kremin" is 100–110 days. As a mid-early hybrid, it fits perfectly into the crop rotation systems used by the majority of Ukrainian farms. The plant height ranges from 160 to 180 cm, ensuring convenience during mechanized harvesting. However, the hybrid's primary asset is its robust resistance profile.

• Phytosanitary Shield: "Kremin" possesses strong genetic resistance to white and gray mold, downy mildew (peronosporosis), phomopsis, and phoma. This allows for significant savings on fungicide applications without compromising harvest quality.
• Oil Content: The oil content ranges from 45% to 50%, making the produce highly attractive for oil extraction plants.

Strengths and Considerations

The hybrid's greatest strength is its "viability." Thanks to its deep root system and physiological traits, "Kremin" effectively resists major pathogens that often cause lodging and crop failure in wet seasons. However, like any high-performance hybrid, it requires adherence to seeding rates and balanced nutrition to fully realize its oil content potential.

Who is this for? Primarily for farmers operating in regions with a moderate risk of fungal disease outbreaks. If you are looking for the perfect balance between maturation speed and seed quality, "Kremin" is a dependable asset to your agricultural toolkit.
