Kremyn

Kremyn is a high-yielding, early-maturing sunflower hybrid characterized by genetic resistance to new strains of downy mildew (A-G). The vegetation period is 108-112 days, allowing harvest in mid-early season. Plants reach a height of 160-180 cm, and the flower head diameter varies from 17 to 20 cm. The 1000-seed weight ranges from 52-60 g, indicating good seed quality. Oil content in the seeds is high — 48-51% — making this hybrid attractive for oil production.

The Kremyn hybrid exhibits high drought resistance (level 8), ensuring stable yields even under adverse weather conditions. It also shows good resistance to major sunflower diseases such as powdery mildew, fusarium, phomopsis, gray and white rot, with resistance levels of 7-8 points. Special attention has been given to resistance to downy mildew, which is a significant advantage for cultivation in regions where this disease is prevalent.

The recommended cultivation zones for the Kremyn hybrid are the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions of Ukraine. The hybrid responds well to mineral fertilization and conventional cultivation technologies, enabling full realization of its yield potential, which reaches 40-55 centners per hectare. Thanks to its characteristics, Kremyn is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality and stable sunflower yields.
