Shrek

Shrek — this is a high-yielding, mid-early hybrid winter rape, developed by the breeding company Lembke and intended for cultivation in southern and eastern regions of Ukraine. The hybrid features a potential yield of 55–60 ц/ha and high oil content, making it a profitable choice for intensive rape production. Thanks to its even maturation and resistance to pod cracking, Shrek crops are easily suitable for direct combine harvesting, simplifying harvest and improving grain quality. One of the key features of the hybrid is its drought tolerance and winter hardiness, ensuring stable plant development and survival under adverse climatic conditions. Early flowering and rapid spring growth give Shrek a clear advantage in coping with unfavorable factors, while its high regenerative capacity helps plants recover from stress. Plants reach a height of about 1.8 meters and exhibit high resistance to lodging, further enhancing yield and grain quality. Shrek is well-adapted to cultivation on heavy soils and late sowing dates, expanding its application under various agronomic conditions. The hybrid is resistant to phomopsis and other diseases, reducing the need for intensive plant protection.
