Description Kremona
Kremona sunflower is a simple hybrid developed for agricultural production and offered by Centrum from Ukraine. This hybrid has a vegetation period of 98 to 102 days, enabling effective planning of sowing and harvesting dates depending on climatic conditions and soil type. Plant height reaches 130-150 cm, and leaf count varies from 26 to 28, promoting good photosynthesis and crop development.

Kremona has high genetic yield potential, exceeding 50 centners per hectare, and oil content in seeds ranges from 49 to 51%, making this hybrid attractive for oil production. Seed moisture content is within 22-24%, indicating high quality and suitability for processing. The hybrid is resistant to most common diseases in Ukraine, reducing harvest loss risks and minimizing the need for intensive chemical protection.

Kremona sunflower seeds are adapted to various climatic zones in Ukraine, including forest-steppe, central and southern steppes, as well as dry steppe regions. Recommended plant density and optimal harvest timing depend on soil type and growing conditions. Additionally, the hybrid is suitable for the Clearfield system, allowing effective weed control, including ragweed, using specialized herbicides such as Euro-Lighting. This provides additional advantages in crop management and increased yield.
