Jurek

The Jurek rapeseed hybrid is a high-yielding variety specially developed for cultivation in drought-prone regions of Ukraine, such as the South and East. It is characterized by enhanced drought tolerance, making it an optimal choice for areas with limited water availability. Early and intensive flowering, along with a rapid spring vegetative start, contribute to high yield potential, which varies from 50-60 c/ha across different regions. Plant height can reach up to 180 cm, while the hybrid exhibits excellent lodging resistance, ensuring uniform maturity and ease of harvest.

Jurek is characterized by high winter hardiness and regenerative capacity, allowing it to successfully withstand adverse weather conditions and recover after stress. The hybrid is resistant to common rapeseed diseases, particularly phomopsis, which reduces the risk of yield loss and minimizes the need for intensive chemical protection. Due to these qualities, the variety performs well on heavy soils and late sowing dates, expanding its applicability across various agronomic conditions.

To achieve maximum yield, it is recommended to conduct late sowing and apply growth regulators in spring and autumn at the 3-5 leaf stage, which helps control the vegetative period and improves plant development. The hybrid is suitable for intensive rapeseed production and is well adapted for direct combine harvesting, simplifying the harvest process. High oil content in the seeds makes Jurek an attractive choice for farmers focused on obtaining high-quality and stable products.
