Sunflower KS 348 ALS

KS 348 ALS — a high-yielding sunflower hybrid with high resistance to major diseases and pathogens, including more than 7 races of downy mildew. This hybrid is designed for conventional cultivation and exhibits resistance to imidazolinone-based herbicides, enabling effective weed control when using Clearfield-class products such as Evolighting, Euro-Lang, Euro-Lend, and Devise Ultra.

KS 348 ALS plants reach a height of 180–200 cm and feature a strong, well-branched root system, ensuring high drought tolerance and allowing cultivation in regions with adverse climatic conditions, including steppes and forest-steppes. The hybrid demonstrates high cold tolerance and resistance to lodging, shattering, and major diseases such as powdery mildew, sunflower moth, fomopsis, and rust.

The potential yield of KS 348 ALS ranges from 29 to 45 c/ha depending on growing conditions, with oil content in seeds varying from 43 to 52%. Seeds are black in color and weigh 60–75 g per 1000 seeds, indicating high-quality planting material. Packaging is done in multi-layer paper bags of 10 kg, ensuring seed integrity during transportation and storage.
