Soybean variety Titan is the latest high-yielding and adaptable variety developed by interspecific hybridization. It is characterized by high yield, reaching 5.5 tons per hectare, and good drought resistance, enabling successful cultivation in various soil-climatic conditions of steppe and forest-steppe regions of Ukraine. Plants have a growth habit ranging from semi-determinate to indeterminate, brown pubescence, and violet flowers with a whitish tinge. Seeds are oval, yellow with a dark central hilum, and 1000-seed mass is 180-220 grams. Variety Titan is early-maturing with a vegetative period of 90-105 days and high adaptability to growing conditions, ensuring stable high yields. It exhibits high resistance to lodging, shattering, and diseases, including tolerance to sclerotinia. It is important to consider the variety's sensitivity to certain herbicides during agronomic operations. Recommended seeding rate is 600,000–700,000 viable seeds per hectare depending on the sowing method. The quality of Titan's grain is distinguished by high protein content (40–42%) and oil content (20–23%), making it attractive for use in food and feed industries. Due to its combination of high yield, resistance to adverse factors, and superior grain quality, this variety is a reliable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality soybean harvest.
