Hysun 195 IT sunflower is a mid-early linoleic IMI-hybrid intended for oil production. The vegetation period ranges from 107 to 121 days, enabling successful cultivation in various climatic conditions, including steppe, forest-steppe, and meadow regions. Seeds are black with stripes at the edges and an ovate shape, with a 1000-seed mass varying from 48 to 66 grams. Plants reach a height of 163-168 cm, featuring large green leaves and a flower head with a diameter of 14-19 cm, oriented downward and slightly curved.

Hysun 195 IT exhibits high resistance to downy mildew (races A-G), as well as to the most common diseases, lodging, shattering, and drought. The hybrid is adapted for Clearfield (IMI) technology, ensuring effective weed control and allowing herbicide application without harming the crop. Seeds are treated with Syngenta’s Maxim XL protectant, which safeguards against soil and seed-borne infections and promotes optimal stand of healthy seedlings. Recommended seeding rate depends on soil moisture and ranges from 45 to 55 thousand plants per hectare.

Oil content in Hysun 195 IT sunflower seeds reaches 45-50%, making it attractive for oil production. Additionally, seeds contain 14-17% protein and have a hull content of 23-29%.
