NS H 2652

Sunflower NS H 2652 is a medium-early Serbian hybrid developed considering the climatic conditions of Ukraine. Its vegetation period is 106-109 days, allowing for harvest at optimal times. The hybrid is designed for cultivation using herbicide technologies Granstar and Sumo, providing effective protection against broadleaf weeds such as ragweed and sow thistle. Plants reach a height of 160-180 cm and possess a strong root system, contributing to high drought resistance and resistance to seed shattering. NS H 2652 features high yield potential up to 55 c/ha and high oil content in seeds — 47-49%. Moreover, seeds contain 16-18% protein, enhancing their nutritional value. Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture conditions: 50-55 thousand plants per hectare in zones with adequate moisture and 45-50 thousand plants per hectare in drier regions. Good leafiness of plants helps retain soil moisture and suppress weed growth. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, gray mold, rust, Phomopsis, sunflower moth, and six-spotted spider mite.
