NS HA 26 A

NS HA 26 A — high-yielding mid-early sunflower hybrid developed by the Institute of Field and Vegetable Growing in Novi Sad, Serbia. It is intended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including forest-steppe, central and southern steppe, as well as dry regions. The hybrid's vegetative period ranges from 100 to 109 days, and plant height reaches 160-180 cm. The hybrid is characterized by a powerful root system, ensuring high drought resistance and the ability to withstand unfavorable weather conditions, which is particularly important for southern regions of Ukraine.

NS HA 26 A is characterized by high oil content in seeds — from 47 to 52%, making it attractive for producing oilseed products. Additionally, the hybrid has a high protein content (16-18%), which increases its nutritional value. Yield potential reaches 55 c/ha, confirming its effectiveness and economic benefit for farmers.

The hybrid is highly resistant to major sunflower diseases, including downy mildew, white rot, Phoma, sunflower moth, and rust. It is also resistant to several strains of Helminthosporium (rust) (from 5 to 7), which significantly reduces the risk of yield losses. NS HA 26 A is suitable for cultivation using modern technologies, including the use of the herbicide Gramoxone and SUMO technology, ensuring convenience and efficiency of agronomic measures.
