Flodik

Flodik sunflower is a mid-season hybrid with a vegetation period of about 105-115 days, designed for cultivation using modern technologies such as SUMO and herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl (SU). This hybrid features high yield potential, reaching up to 51 centners per hectare, and is suitable for various climatic zones, including arid regions, due to its high drought tolerance. Plant height ranges from 165-180 cm, and flower head diameter is approximately 18-20 cm, which contributes to effective yield formation.

Flodik possesses genetic resistance to all races A-G of sunflower downy mildew, as well as to most common diseases, including false powdery mildew, phomopsis, rust, gray and white mold. High resistance to lodging and shattering ensures stable yields even under adverse conditions. Seeds of this hybrid contain up to 52% linoleic-type oil, making it attractive for oil production.

Recommended planting density depends on growing conditions: in well-watered zones, optimal density is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare; in moderately moist zones — 50-55 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid demonstrates good early growth rates and best expresses its potential under optimal agronomic practices, making it a profitable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality sunflower yields.
