Field agronomics

For us, as field operators, the vegetation period was the key factor. It fits perfectly into the 90–100 day window. This is critical when you need to clear fields for winter crops or avoid autumn rainfall. The plant is medium-height (180–190 cm), which simplifies combine operation—less biomass means less strain on the threshing mechanism and, consequently, a cleaner grain tank.

Crop health and resilience

In terms of plant protection, "Florencia KS" demonstrates high self-sufficiency. We have recorded strong resistance to a complex of diseases: alternaria, phoma, and rust barely caused any issues during the growing season. I would specifically highlight its resistance to the sunflower moth, which saves a significant portion of our insecticide budget. Even when weather conditions fluctuate in humidity, the hybrid remains sturdy and shows no signs of shelling.
