Sunflower hybrid «ES Terramiss SL» is a mid-early Clearfield hybrid developed by the French company Euralis Semences. It features high drought resistance and resistance to a range of diseases, including phomopsis, sclerotinia of the head and stem, verticillium, rust, and tolerance to seven strains of sunflower rust. Plants reach a height of about 165 cm, with an average head diameter of about 22 cm, sloping downwards, which promotes high technology efficiency and reduces shattering and lodging.
The hybrid is characterized by high yield with a potential up to 5 tons per hectare and oil content in seeds at 46-47%. Thanks to high leafiness and a sturdy stem, «ES Terramiss SL» is well adapted to various climatic conditions, making it convenient for cultivation in steppe, forest-steppe, and forest-steppe regions of Ukraine. Recommended sowing density varies depending on soil moisture: at increased moisture – 60-65 thousand plants per hectare, at moisture deficit – 50-55 thousand.
This hybrid is distinguished by its stability and reliability in oilseed production, confirmed by its resistance to major diseases and pests. Seeds are packed in bags of 150 thousand units, ensuring ease of sowing. «ES Terramiss SL» is the optimal choice for agrarians seeking high and quality sunflower yield with high oil content.
