ES JURASSIC SU

The hybrid sunflower ES JURASSIC SU from the company Euralis is a linoleic oilseed variety with high yield, reaching up to 45 centners per hectare. The plant is of medium height — from 165 to 175 cm, with a convex head diameter of 23–24 cm and high leafiness. This hybrid belongs to the mid-early maturity group, with a vegetation period of 108 to 112 days, enabling its effective use in various climatic zones.

ES JURASSIC SU has high resistance to a number of diseases, including false powdery mildew, phomopsis, rust (coded as A–G), head and stem sclerotinia, verticillium, and rust. To protect against fungal infections and insects, seeds are treated with fungicides Maxim XL and Poncho, providing additional protection and promoting stable plant growth.

The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polесьe regions, adapted to various growing conditions. Sowing rates vary depending on the region: in Southern Steppe — 40–45 thousand seeds per hectare, in Steppe — 45–50 thousand, in Forest-Steppe — 55–60 thousand seeds per hectare. Seeds are packed in bags of 150 thousand units. The oil content in seeds ranges from 48–50 %, with a high level of oleic acid — 86–88 %, making this hybrid attractive for oil production.
