Winter rapeseed variety Bernstein, a early-maturing classic selection by Saatbau company, is intended for cultivation in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe regions of Ukraine. It is distinguished by very early flowering and maturation, enabling successful cultivation even under challenging climatic conditions. Optimal sowing dates range from August 20 to 30, with late sowing possible until September 10. The recommended seeding rate is 450,000 to 600,000 seeds per hectare, depending on sowing timing and growing conditions.

Bernstein variety is characterized by high seed oil content, reaching 46–49%, making it attractive for oil production. Yield potential ranges from 40 to 60 centners per hectare. The rapeseed exhibits high heat tolerance and drought resistance, confirmed by an 8-point rating on the drought resistance scale. Additionally, the variety demonstrates good cold tolerance up to -13°C and high regenerative capacity after wintering, ensuring stable yields.

Special attention is given to the variety's resistance to diseases such as phoma and alternaria, as well as lodging. These qualities contribute to reduced yield losses and improved quality. Seed packaging is performed in polyethylene containers of 1.5 million seeds, which is convenient for agricultural enterprises. Rapeseed Bernstein is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality oilseed crop yields.
