ES YANKIS CLP — this is a high-yielding sunflower hybrid from the company Euralis, belonging to the CLEARFIELD® PLUS type. It is characterized by medium maturity and intensive growth type, reaching a height of 150–155 cm and a head diameter of 22–24 cm with a downward-leaning position. The hybrid is high-oleic, ensuring high plant oil content, and shows yields up to 5 tons per hectare. The vegetation period is approximately 107 days, allowing effective use in various climatic conditions, including the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia regions of Ukraine. ES YANKIS CLP is highly resistant to diseases, including rusts A–G, and tolerant to 7 rust strains, as well as showing good resistance to stress and drought. It tolerates high temperatures and adverse conditions, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in areas with insufficient moisture. The hybrid is also not demanding in soil quality and positively responds to foliar and root fertilization, particularly recommending the use of boron and nitrogen-containing products during the 4–6 true leaf stage to enhance productivity. For weed control, herbicides based on imazamox and imazapir are recommended, while fungicides containing carbendazim are used to combat diseases. Pests are effectively controlled by imidacloprid- and lambda-cyhalothrin-based products. Sowing rates vary depending on the region: 40–45 thousand plants per hectare in the Southern Steppe, up to 55–60 thousand in the Forest-Steppe, with a recommended density at harvest of 50–65 thousand plants per hectare depending on moisture levels. This combination of characteristics makes ES YANKIS CLP a versatile and reliable hybrid for modern agronomic technologies.
