Rapeseed Buchatsky

Stability and Oil Content: Why Growers Choose "Buchatskyi"

The winter rapeseed variety "Buchatskyi" from the Ukrainian manufacturer "Buchachagrokhlibprom" is a breeding product focused on farmers who prioritize crop predictability in a changing climate. Unlike many imported hybrids that require near-ideal conditions, this variety demonstrates high adaptability to the soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine.

Key Characteristics and Potential

• Oil Content: A level of 45–50% makes this variety attractive to processing plants, ensuring a high purchase price for the final product.
• Morphology: Plant height ranging from 160 to 180 cm promotes optimal pod development and facilitates efficient harvesting.
• Resistance: Genetic protection against downy mildew (peronosporosis) and bacteriosis reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, which is crucial for maintaining production profitability.

The seeding rate varies from 600,000 to 800,000 seeds per hectare, depending on regional soil fertility. With a yield potential of 40–50 c/ha, "Buchatskyi" competes effectively with leading global analogs while maintaining a significant advantage in seed cost efficiency.

Who is this choice for?

"Buchatskyi" is optimal for agricultural enterprises aiming to minimize biological risks. If your region is prone to fungal disease outbreaks, this variety serves as a "safety net" option, ensuring a stable yield of marketable grain. It is forgiving of minor technological gaps, making it an excellent choice for farms maintaining a moderate level of production intensity.
