EC Supra

The EC Supra hybrid sunflower is a high-yielding oilseed variety with resistance to seven races of the parasitic weed flax (A-G). This hybrid is characterized by high oil content in seeds, reaching 46-51%, ensuring high-quality oil. Due to its resistance to major diseases such as phomopsis and various types of rot, EC Supra is a reliable choice for cultivation in challenging climatic conditions.

EC Supra is characterized by high drought and heat tolerance, making it particularly suitable for cultivation in dry regions of Ukraine, such as steppe and forest-steppe. Plants reach a height of about 170 cm, and the flower head diameter is approximately 22 cm. The hybrid has a homozygous type of resistance to the herbicide tribenuron-methyl (Express PX), enabling effective weed control when using appropriate cultivation technology.

The recommended seeding rate is 50 grams per hectare, ensuring optimal plant density and maximum yield, which varies between 35-45 centners per hectare. EC Supra is a simple hybrid with high genetic immunity, simplifying agronomic practices and promoting stable, high-quality harvests even under adverse conditions.
