ES CANDIMIS SL is a mid-early sunflower hybrid developed for intensive cultivation technologies. It possesses high plasticity and is adapted to various soil and climate conditions, ensuring stable and high yields. The hybrid is characterized by a rapid start-up growth at the beginning of vegetation and excellent drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable weather conditions. Plant height reaches about 165 cm, and the head diameter is approximately 23 cm, which promotes good pollination and crop formation.
ES CANDIMIS SL is resistant to the herbicide Euro-Lightning® and is suitable for the Clearfield® system, which facilitates weed control and increases the efficiency of agrotechnologies. The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including races 5-6 of nematodes (A-F), phoma, head rots and stem rots, as well as sclerotinia and verticillium. These qualities significantly reduce the risk of yield losses and ensure production stability.
The yield potential of the hybrid reaches up to 45 ц/га (t/ha), while oil content in seeds varies from 44.5% to 50%, making it attractive for the oilseed industry. The vegetation period is 105-110 days, which corresponds to a mid-early maturity period. ES CANDIMIS SL is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including the Central Black Earth, North Caucasus, and Lower Volga regions, as well as the Polesye and Forest-steppe of Ukraine, which confirms its universality and high adaptability.
