Sunflower Elia

Stable Yields in Temperate Climatic Conditions

For agricultural enterprises prioritizing profitability alongside standard agronomic practices, the "Ela" hybrid from the "List" brand has become a go-to solution. This simple sunflower hybrid of Ukrainian origin is specifically adapted to soil and climatic conditions in regions with moderate moisture levels and risks of fungal outbreaks.

Practical Advantages in Field Management

The primary advantage of this hybrid is the significant reduction in fungicide requirements due to the plant's inherent natural immunity. Under field conditions, "Ela" demonstrates strong resistance to a complex of pathogens that typically erode yield potential:

• White and Grey Rot (Sclerotinia and Botrytis).
• Downy Mildew (Peronospora).
• Phomopsis and Phoma.

The plant height, ranging from 150–160 cm, allows for the use of standard agricultural machinery for inter-row cultivation and fertilizer application without the risk of mechanical damage during the budding phase. This height is optimal: the plant is robust enough to form a well-developed seed head while maintaining excellent resistance to lodging, even during strong wind events.

Agronomic Potential and Economic Impact

With an oil content of 45–50%, this hybrid is an attractive choice for farms working with processing facilities that demand high-quality oilseeds. "Ela" is highly responsive to starter doses of nitrogen fertilizers and precise control of seeding density. When following recommended agronomic practices, growers report uniform maturation of the heads, which simplifies harvest logistics and minimizes grain losses during threshing.

The use of this planting material is ideal for farms seeking predictable results without the need for expensive, specialized herbicide protection systems. It represents a commitment to a classic, proven, and efficient technological approach to sunflower cultivation.
