Common sunflower Dnipro F1

Stable yields with Serbian genetics

The «Dnipro F1» sunflower hybrid from the renowned Serbian institute IFVCNS (Novi Sad) is a choice for farmers focused on predictable results under moderate climate conditions. In field conditions, this simple hybrid demonstrates high adaptability, making it a reliable tool for crop rotation planning.

Agronomic potential and parameters

The vegetation period is 110–120 days. Such early maturity allows for effective operation in regions where it is crucial to avoid late autumn rains or frosts. In terms of morphology, the plant reaches a height of 170–180 cm, ensuring comfortable harvesting with standard headers without excessive losses.

• Oil content: levels of 45–50% allow for high purchase prices, as the raw material meets the essential requirements of processors.
• Phytosanitary control: genetic resistance to Phomopsis and sunflower rust reduces the need for additional fungicide treatments, which directly impacts production costs.

Practical application on the farm

«Dnipro F1» is optimal for farms seeking a balance between intensive technology and crop resilience. Its potential is unlocked on medium-fertility soils when following a classic fertilizer application scheme. Due to its resistance to major pathogens, this hybrid becomes a «safety» option for fields where the risk of fungal diseases is traditionally high.

When sowing, it is recommended to adhere to an optimal plant density corresponding to the climatic zone to unlock the head's productivity. In agricultural operations, the crop shows high adaptability: uniform flowering and ripening simplify the logistics of the harvest campaign.
