ES ANASTASIA sunflower is a medium-early simple hybrid of Serbian breeding, developed for classical cultivation technology. The vegetative period is 110-115 days, and plant height reaches 170-180 cm. The hybrid has a powerful medium-depth root system and a medium-thick stem, which ensures good stability and adaptation to various climatic conditions. The plant head is thin, and the mass of 1000 seeds varies from 60 to 70 grams.
ES ANASTASIA differs in high yield potential, exceeding 60 centners per hectare, and high oil content in seeds — from 48 to 50%. The hybrid is characterized by a dross content at the level of 20-22%, which contributes to high-quality raw material for processing. The recommended plant density is 55-60 thousand per hectare, which is optimal for forest-steppe conditions.
Special attention is paid to the hybrid's resistance to diseases and stress factors. ES ANASTASIA has high resistance to downy mildew, foamy blight, foamy blight, rust, alternaria, fireworm, mites, and dodder. Moreover, the hybrid is resistant to seven races of parasitic plant dodder (A, B, C, D, E, F, G), which significantly reduces the risk of crop loss. Thanks to its drought resistance and ability to well shade the soil, the hybrid contributes to reduced moisture evaporation, which makes it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions.
