Sugar beet SX1529

Productivity genetics from Seedex

In the sugar beet market, Seedex breeding occupies a unique niche, combining American approaches to intensive farming with the precision of European geneticists from Sesvanderhave. The SKC1529 model is the result of deep cooperation among industry experts, including breeding work by Maarten Vanderstukken. This hybrid is aimed at agricultural enterprises for which the balance between final output and root stability in the field is critical.

Biological potential and specifications

SKC1529 is a type of crop focused on high sugar content, which is a key factor in processing profitability. The oval-conical shape of the root crop ensures not only convenience for mechanical harvesting, but also optimal soil penetration, minimizing harvesting losses. Key hybrid indicators:

• Sugar content: from 18% to 19%.
• Shape: oval-conical, promoting a smooth root surface.
• Origin: USA (Seedex brand).

Why growers choose this model

Under modern farming conditions, the choice of a hybrid is based on harvest predictability. SKC1529 demonstrates high tolerance to stress factors, which is characteristic of the Seedex breeding portfolio. This hybrid has established itself as a tool for producing high-quality raw materials that meet the stringent requirements of modern sugar refineries. A consistently high sugar percentage makes it a strategically important choice for those seeking to maximize the monetization of every hectare of crops.
