Hybrid with EPD technology
- diploid hybrid, registered in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine in 2009.
- type - NZ
- Morphological features:
leaf rosette type — semi-erect, leaf of medium length, leaf blade large in size, with moderate leaf margin undulation, slightly wrinkled; root crop of medium size, broad-conical shape, fully buried in the soil. - Recommended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Polissia zones, plant stand density at harvest — 90-110 thousand/ha, recommended to harvest in the second half of the digging season.
- Agronomic properties:
hybrid tolerant to rhizomania, yields best on high agrofunds with adequate moisture supply. Potential productivity — 80-90 t/ha. Distinguished by high juice quality and sugar yield at the factory. - Achieved results:
In production trials conducted in Ukraine (2007-2009), the average yield across 20 variety trials was 61.4 t/ha with sugar content of 15.91%, which is 3.5 t/ha higher than the average standard.
SVETLANA KWS
- diploid hybrid
- combines high yield and sugar content, leading to high actual sugar harvest per hectare
- hybrid is tolerant to root rots caused by Aphanaomyces and powdery mildew (Erysiphe betae).
- Svetlana KWS is suitable for early harvest
- approved regions — Central Chernozem (5), Ural (9).
