Sugar Beet BOGUSLAVA KWS

Technological Potential of "Boguslawa KWS" Sugar Beet

A 2025 innovation from the German leader KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA, the "Boguslawa KWS" hybrid is designed for intensive industrial production. Thanks to its diploid type and single-germ nature, this hybrid ensures uniform crop emergence, which is critical for achieving a consistent yield suitable for mechanized harvesting.

Raw Material Quality for Processing

The primary purpose of "Boguslawa KWS" is industrial processing at sugar refineries. The broad-conical shape of the root and its complete burial in the soil minimize losses during combine harvesting and reduce soil contamination. This leads to higher purity of the raw material delivered to processing plants, directly impacting the final sugar yield.

• Transportability and Storage: The dense structure of the root and its resistance to mechanical damage ensure the preservation of its commercial appearance during long-distance transport from the field to the storage pile.
• Processability: The late development of flowering stems prevents premature lignification of tissues, maintaining high sugar content throughout the entire growing season.
• Adaptability: The hybrid is perfectly suited for the agro-climatic conditions of the Forest-Steppe and Polissya zones, demonstrating stability even under intensive cultivation loads.

By choosing "Boguslawa KWS," farmers secure a predictable result: a large, uniform root that is easy to process and retains its quality under industrial storage conditions.
