The key feature of this hybrid is its ability to maintain metabolic activity under extreme temperatures. In field trials, Ataman Smart demonstrated:

• High tolerance to Cercospora leaf spot, reducing the need for intensive fungicide protection during critical growth phases.
• Root stability against cracking during sudden fluctuations in soil moisture.
• Minimal reaction to herbicide stress, allowing the plant to recover faster after Smart-system treatments.

Thanks to its robust leaf rosette, the hybrid quickly closes the canopy, creating a natural shield for the soil. This not only suppresses weed growth but also prevents root system overheating during peak summer temperatures. Ataman Smart is recommended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones, where its potential is realized through a combination of high sugar content and resistance to root lodging.
