SUGAR BEET POL-X 46705

Field Performance of POL X 46705 Sugar Beet

The defining characteristic of this hybrid is its oval-conical root shape. From an operator's perspective, this is a significant advantage during the harvesting season. The roots sit in the soil in a way that minimizes resistance, allowing the harvester to extract them cleanly with minimal damage or root tip breakage. This not only reduces loss but also prevents contamination of the root body, which is vital for long-term storage.

Operational Advantages and Maintenance

• Early Establishment: Seeds show excellent germination vigor. The crop establishes a canopy quickly, helping to shade out weeds early in the season and reducing the need for intensive chemical intervention.
• Harvesting Efficiency: The oval-conical geometry is ideal for modern harvesting machinery. With less soil being picked up by the lifters and less breakage at the tips, wear on the conveyor belts and cleaning mechanisms is noticeably reduced.
• Storage Quality: The density of the root is optimal for bulk storage.

Managing POL X 46705 follows standard professional practices, but with better return on labor and machinery. For farms looking to balance yield potential with a smooth, hassle-free harvest, this hybrid delivers on both counts by ensuring uniform roots and simplified logistical handling.
