Sugar beet RIVOLTA

Yield stability amidst high pathogen pressure

The «Rivolta» sugar beet hybrid from the Danish producer DLF is a strategic choice for growers operating in fields with a high risk of soil-borne diseases. As intensive farming practices demand robust crop protection, this E-type hybrid delivers consistent productivity even in challenging phytosanitary conditions.

Key Advantages

• Superior Disease Resistance: The genetics of «Rivolta» are specifically designed to combat the primary challenges of sugar beet production. The hybrid demonstrates high tolerance to rhizomania and rhizoctonia, while effectively suppressing the development of cercospora, powdery mildew, and various rot types. This minimizes reliance on intensive fungicide schedules and protects yield potential during the late growth stages.
• Balanced Sugar Accumulation: Focusing on high root tonnage, the hybrid maintains a consistent sugar content of 16–17%. This provides an optimal balance for processing facilities, ensuring both high volume and good extractability metrics.
• Growth Characteristics: Featuring large roots, «Rivolta» is engineered to maximize total yield per hectare, making it a preferred solution for commercial farms prioritizing high-tonnage output.

Who is this hybrid for?

«Rivolta» is an ideal candidate for fields with historically high infection pressure, where standard susceptible varieties often fail. If your production model demands predictability and resilience against root rot and foliage diseases, this DLF hybrid provides the necessary reliability. Combining Danish breeding expertise with input from leading originators, it ensures strong establishment and dependable crop development through harvest, safeguarding your investment in every hectare.
