Sugar beet VAQUITA SMART

Ensuring Consistent Sugar Beet Yields in High-Risk Zones

The French breeding expertise of Florimond-Desprez Veuve et Fils is exemplified in the «Vakita Smart» sugar beet hybrid. This variety is engineered specifically for farms operating in regions prone to heavy disease pressure. If your fields are frequently challenged by cercospora leaf spot or powdery mildew, this hybrid allows for the optimization of fungicide schedules, effectively reducing production costs per hectare while safeguarding the crop's biological potential.

Field Performance and Harvesting Efficiency

The oval-conical root shape of the «Vakita Smart» is a strategic advantage for mechanized farming. This specific morphology ensures seamless interaction with modern harvesters, minimizing mechanical damage during lifting and reducing trash content, which is critical for efficient processing at the sugar factory.

• Phytosanitary Defense: High genetic tolerance to rot and leaf diseases enables the canopy to remain photosynthetically active throughout the season, directly impacting sugar accumulation.
• Agronomic Reliability: Uniform development across the field simplifies harvest planning, eliminating the need to rush due to premature crop senescence or foliage decline.

Choosing «Vakita Smart» from Florimond-Desprez Veuve et Fils is a calculated move for commercial farms aiming for high sugar yields under fluctuating environmental conditions. The French genetics ensure that the crop maintains its physiological integrity, providing stability and predictable performance in intensive agricultural systems.
