Description NEXUS
Nexus is a selective post-emergence herbicide designed for effective control of a wide spectrum of annual broadleaf weeds, including hard-to-control species, in soybean crops. The active ingredient of the product is fomesafen at a concentration of 240 g/l, belonging to the chemical class of diphenyl ethers. The herbicide has both systemic and contact action, which ensures high efficiency when spraying crops in the phase from the first to the third trifoliate leaf of soybean, as well as in early stages of weed development. The application rate ranges from 1 to 1.75 liters per hectare, with working fluid consumption of 100-300 liters per hectare. The product belongs to hazard class 2 for humans and low hazard for bees. A feature of Nexus application is strict limitations on crop rotation: after treatment, soybeans, beans, and potatoes can be sown at any time, wheat, barley, and rye after 4 months, corn and peas after 10 months, and alfalfa, sorghum, sugar beet, sunflower, and other crops after 18 months. The pre-harvest interval after treatment is 60 days with a single application, which allows complying with agronomic requirements and minimizing risks for subsequent crops. Sugar beet BTS 4770 is a monocycle diploid hybrid on a sterile basis of NZ-type. The plant is of medium height with semi-erect leaves and a wide-conical root of medium length, partially buried in the soil. The hybrid belongs to medium-late sugar varieties and is recommended for harvesting at early, medium, and late dates. Average root yield in the region is 688 centners per hectare, sugar content is 16.8%, and sugar collection reaches 117.4 centners per hectare. BTS 4770 has a medium level of resistance to powdery mildew, aphano mycete rot, and scab, which ensures crop stability and high product quality.
