MS CH 46705 is a sugar beet variety, representing a high-yielding biennial root crop of the Amaranthaceae family. The plant forms cylindrical root vegetables 20-30 cm long and weighing 3 to 6 kg with yellow skin and light yellow, juicy flesh. This variety is distinguished by its increased sugar content, reaching 18-20%, making it a valuable raw material for sugar production. Additionally, MS CH 46705 beets are widely used as a feed crop due to the high nutrient content in the roots and foliage. Cultivation of this variety is carried out in open ground; optimal conditions for seed germination are temperatures of +10-12°C, and for growth and development, +20-22°C. Sowing is recommended in autumn or spring in April-May at a depth of 3-4 cm. The vegetation period lasts 110-120 days, which allows for a high yield of up to 100 tons per hectare. The variety is characterized by high resistance to diseases and bolting, which contributes to preserving quality and long-term storage of the harvest. MS CH 46705 is valued not only for its high sugar content but also for its feed qualities. In 100 kg of root vegetables, there are about 25 feed units and 1.2 kg of digestible protein, while the foliage provides an additional 20 feed units and 2.2 kg of digestible protein. Thanks to these characteristics, the beets are suitable for efficient fattening of livestock, providing animals with necessary nutrients. The producer of the variety is the company 'Flora Market' from Ukraine, which guarantees quality and adaptation of the crop to local growing conditions.
