MOGICAN

Sugar beet MOGICAN is a single-stem diploid hybrid based on a Z-type sterile foundation, belonging to the group of sugary varieties with early-mid harvest time. This hybrid was developed for agronomic use to achieve high sugar levels and high root yield. MOGICAN is distinguished by its stability and adaptation to various climatic conditions, making it in demand in agriculture.

The MOGICAN hybrid demonstrates high yield and sugar content indicators. In the North Caucasus region, the average root yield reaches 486.8 centners per hectare, with 17.8% sugar content, ensuring sugar collection at a level of 84.7 centners per hectare. In the Urals region, yield is about 280 centners per hectare, and the mass of one root reaches 280 grams. These figures indicate high productivity and quality of the hybrid.

Additionally, MOGICAN has good disease resistance, in particular, it is weakly affected by cercosporosis and is not susceptible to other common diseases of sugar beet. This quality contributes to reduced crop losses and lower costs for plant protection.
