Sugar beet Leona

Beet sugar variety Leona is a late hybrid with a normal-sugar type NZ, ensuring a high sugar content in the roots. This variety is characterized by high yield and technological root shape, facilitating harvesting and processing. Harvesting periods vary from medium to late, allowing flexible planning of agronomic activities depending on regional climatic conditions.

Leona exhibits resistance to major sugar beet diseases such as fusarium, powdery mildew, and cercosporosis, significantly reducing the risk of crop loss and enhancing production stability. The variety is recommended for cultivation in region 9 and is adapted to various climatic conditions, making it a versatile choice for farmers.

Plant protection is achieved using the CONVIZO® SMART system and INITIO PRO + technology, which effectively protect against pests and diseases while maintaining plant health throughout the growing season. High sugar yield per hectare makes Leona economically advantageous for sugar and other processing product production.
