Sugar beet LIVIOLA KWS

Stable Yields with Minimal Risks

Field experience with "Liviola KWS" sugar beet demonstrates that this triploid hybrid is a workhorse for farmers who prefer not to gamble with disease pressure. In conditions of high humidity and infection risk, this variety remains highly predictable: while neighboring fields struggle with Cercospora, Liviola holds its ground. This saves budget on fungicide treatments, as the genetic resistance to a complex of diseases (Rhizoctonia, Cercospora, Ramularia, Powdery mildew) is not just a marketing claim but a practical tool for reducing production costs.

Agronomic Features and Performance

As a Normal-Sugar type (NZ), this German hybrid from KWS ensures predictable root growth and stable sugar content under standard cultivation protocols. The variety is highly adaptable, forgiving minor sowing errors and successfully coping with climate stress.

• Plant Health: High tolerance to leaf spot diseases reduces the need for additional spray passes.
• Stability: Triploidy ensures even crop development, which is critical for efficient mechanized harvesting.
• Economics: High sugar yield per hectare with minimal root loss during logistics.

If you are looking for seed material that requires less maintenance during the vegetation period and provides consistent results at the scale house upon delivery to the sugar factory, Liviola KWS will justify your investment. It is the choice for those who value rational farming without unnecessary field experiments.
