Sugar beet KUBANSKIY MS 90

KUBANSKIY MS 90 is a sugar beet hybrid intended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the North Caucasian and Lower Volga. It belongs to the first generation of medium-maturing varieties and is characterized by high yield and sugar content. In the North Caucasian region, the average root crop yield reaches 399 centners per hectare with 17.3% sugar content, and the root crop mass is about 535 grams. In the Lower Volga region, the root crop mass is slightly less — 307 grams, while the sugar content is higher, reaching 19.6%, and sugar collection is 60.9 centners per hectare. The hybrid has good resistance to root maggot and powdery mildew, which contributes to maintaining the quality and quantity of the harvest. However, it is susceptible to Cercospora, which requires attention when choosing plant protection methods. High sugar content and stable sugar collection make KUBANSKIY MS 90 attractive for the sugar industry and farmers seeking maximum return from plantings. This hybrid is recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones, as evidenced by its inclusion in the state register for the Lower Volga region. Thanks to its characteristics, KUBANSKIY MS 90 is suitable for effective sugar beet production with high-quality root crops and good resistance to pests and diseases.
