Sunflower A 68

Stability and Oil Content: The Potential of the A 68 Hybrid

In the modern sunflower market, choosing seeds requires a balance between adaptability and productivity. The "A 68" hybrid by "Sunflour" (Санфлауэр) is a solution for farmers focused on consistent results in regions with high pathogenic pressure.

Technical Profile

The key advantage of this hybrid is its genetically determined resistance. In an environment where pathogens are a serious yield limiter, "A 68" demonstrates reliable immunity to downy mildew and effectiveness in suppressing powdery mildew. This reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, thereby lowering the cost of production.

• Oil content: stable indicators in the 45–50% range, which is highly valued by processing facilities.
• Origin: a product of Russian breeding by "Sunflour", adapted to regional climatic realities.
• Reputation: the choice for operations that prioritize predictable crop development and consistent performance during the growing season.

The hybrid's adaptability allows it to be used in various soil and climatic zones. The specialists at "Sunflour" have paid special attention to physiological growth aspects, enabling "A 68" to efficiently utilize moisture and soil nutrients to form full, high-oil-content seed heads.

For the farmer, this means not only protecting investments but also planning the farm's economics based on high-quality harvest parameters. "A 68" is a workhorse whose potential is fully realized through standard agronomic practices, making it a critical component in crop rotation for operations of any scale.
